Our Consumer Reference Groups (CRGs) are designed to identify older people’s priority issues by bringing people over 50 together to meet in an informal setting and help test COTA NSW’s thinking on a range of key issues and policies. Joining a CRG allows you the opportunity to influence the policies of COTA NSW, and through us, the NSW Government. We are always looking to expand our network of CRGs across regional NSW.
We have established Consumer Reference Groups in Sydney, Coffs Harbour, Orange, and Shellharbour. This year we are initiating a new group on the Central Coast. These groups allow us meet members of these communities and discuss the issues you care about care about most. These groups also provide us with a chance to present draft policy papers and submissions to participants and get their valuable feedback about the work we’re doing.
Upcoming CRG topics: Health, housing, mature-aged workforce, energy affordability
Locations and dates: Check our events calendar
How to participate: If you’re interested in joining a Consumer Reference Group please contact Lisa Langley at Lisa.Langley@cotansw.com.au or by phoning 02 9286 3860.
